A closet is often the most under appreciated room in a house - until you need one. then the storage space it represents becomes a valuable asset. it does not take a professional to build a closet only a willingness to set aside some time and have access to both hand tools and basic power tools. I made this closet for about $200 and it's 9 feet long with over 40 feet of shelving! the shelves are slatted to allow clothes to breathe and i used galvanized pipes for the closet rods..
