Entry doors are easy. i usually just buy prehung exterior shed doors like you’d install in a garage or house. big doors are a little more challenging. after experimenting with various methods, i’ve settled on sliding doors as the best solution. sliding doors have several advantages over hinged doors for wide openings.. To build a door for a shed, start by cutting a piece of wood paneling or ti-11 siding to the size of the door opening, minus 1/2 inch on each side. next, cut boards to frame the top, bottom, and sides of your door, then glue them in place using wood glue.. Use this method to build your shed doors if you are siding your walls before standing them up. this is a little more complicated then the method listed above. when i built sheds professionally this is the method i used because it allowed me to already have my doors built and have them ready on the job site..
